The Gallery Marianne Heller starts into 2009 with an exhibition of works by the Frankfurt artist Bert Walter (40), who with sev-eral shows in and outside Germany has attracted attention.

In his work Bert Walter is concerned with the free play of inspiration and an intuitive approach to the yet hidden potentials of his medium without projecting values or purposes into it.

Walter’s corporal bodies were first shown by the Frankfurt Museum für Angewandte Kunst at the 9th Triennale für Form und Inhalte in 2003. The show then went to the Museum of Arts & Design in New York, followed by numerous exhibitions in Germany and abroad.
